New Year New You

January 01, 2008

This could be your year so start it with exuberant expectations! Get ready to dig deep and set your sights on change.

Take a look at our top ten resolutions for ideas… Bring back family dinnertime. Create an atmosphere for engaging in dinner conversation. “What was your favorite part of the day?” Learn something new about those gathered around your dinner table.

Explore more of the wonderful places in the North State. Suggestions from Thom Gabrukiewicz (writer, adventurer) for sights not everyone sees:Mossbrae Falls— watch the water burst from the rocks; Lassen peak by moonlight—what a spectacular perspective; the upper Sacramento River on a raft—gives you a view of the canyon you’ll never see from I-5.

Change your point of view, whether it’s to always see the glass half full or, more literally, the view out your window. At Enjoy, we are now gazing out over the beautiful Sacramento River—except on deadline days—watching ducks moving their families across the lagoon. We have moved to 1905 ParkMarina Drive in the historic “Outrigger Building” and are gaggling with the geese, we are so excited about it. So far, we’ve seen two otters, one turtle, a number of fish and more ducks and geese then we have time to count. What a sight to behold!

Or simply take time to “enjoy”. Enjoy magazine now has subscriptions available for those who don’t already receive the publication. Give as a gift or send it to friends and family who live out of town. If you don’t already receive it and want the convenience of it delivered, now you can have Enjoy brought straight to your mailbox. You can still pick up the magazine free at our rack locations throughout the North State or view the entire, interactive magazine online at our website, www.enjoymagazine.net.

With that, we wish you all a very happy and prosperous New Year—New You. Believe in yourself and the power of change!
