An Afternoon Delight

There's a High Tea being planned just for you! The Jefferson Pipe Band invites you and your friends, ladies and gentlemen, to wind down the week and spend a lovely afternoon with us relaxing as we pamper you with teas served from bottomless pots, delight you with savories, scones and pastries typical of Scotland's regions and entertain you with "The Art of Drinking Tea" a whimsical short story by Gloria Mutch followed by your very own table conversation. "Scotland, a Light-Hearted Look" opens a presentation by Paul Bissett who will just be returing from his travels in Scotland, his homeland. To make your visit complete, local Harpist Kathleen Challe and her sweet Celtic music will magically whisk you off to a far away land---if just for an afternoon. To purchase tickets online go to, type in Jefferson Pipe Band or High Tea then click on "Purchase Tickets." For more information please call (530) 243-5240. ------ A Fundraiser for the benefit of THE JEFFERSON PIPE BAND, a tax-exempt educational nonprofit, to help defer the expenses related to their travel when they compete in the World's Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. To make a donation online, GoFundMe/Jefferson Pipe Band or send your donation to THE JEFFERSON PIPE BAND, P.O. Box 991526, Redding, CA 96099-1526 with a note "To The World's."
