Enterprise Community Park Sport Court Ribbon Cutting

The City of Redding Community Services Department invites you to celebrate the opening of the newly refurbished Enterprise Park Sport Court, formerly the Enterprise Park Roller Hockey Rink at Enterprise Park, 4300 Victor Ave on Thursday April 21 at 10:00am. Time and heavy use had taken its toll on the rink. The rink was originally built in 1994 but due to Redding’s extreme temperature fluctuations, the surface had been marred and cracked contributing to the breakdown of the concrete. The new court, through renovations estimated at $26,000, can accommodate more than just roller hockey or roller derby and now is home to our City’s vibrant pickleball community. “We have had a great turn out…everyone who comes out to play loves the new courts and are very appreciative,” said Mike Archibald, Redding Pickleball 4 All Ambassador. The City of Redding is grateful for the support of the McConnell Foundation and the Shasta Regional Community Foundation as well as the volunteer efforts of the Redding Pickleball Group who are so passionate about their sport.
