Oroville's 19th Annual Pow Wow
Honoring and remembering the late Jim (2 Bulls) Preston of the Pit River Tribe
Arts/crafts/foods booths will be open to the public Saturday at 11 am, with Pow Wow Grand Entry and dancing from noon to 10 pm. Sunday arts/crafts/foods booths and Pow Wow activities and dancing from 11 am to 4 pm. Remember, our Pow Wow’s new location, we will now be on the Gymnasium lawn behind the Gold Country Casino on the Berry Creek Rancheria, 4020 Olive Highway in Oroville. You are invited to attend our FREE weekend event filled with the music and rhythms of American Indian drummers and singers. Watch dancers wearing both traditional and multi-colored dance clothing, enjoy the aromas and tastes of delicious Native American foods, and stroll among the many arts and craft vendors.
