Black Holes, Season of Light

Black Holes: The Other Side of Infinity They’re one of the most intriguing and mysterious phenomena in the universe, places where time and space are warped to the extreme, and nothing—not even light—can escape the pull of their ferocious gravity. Black holes once defied the imagination. But now, the more scientists look for evidence of them, the more they find, and the more they learn about the role of black holes in the universe. This stunning presentation of the latest science about black holes visualized using supercomputing technology. The show whisks audiences to a place humans can never venture—to the center of a black hole. This show is narrated by Liam Neeson. Season of Light Light up your evening as we bring you the burning of the Yule log, sparkling Christmas trees, candles in the windows, luminaries and the traditional ritual of lighting the Menorah. Feast in the multicultural traditions of the winter solstice. Rituals from ancient Christian, Jewish, Celtic, Nordic, Roman, Irish, Mexican and Hopi cultures are presented, along with more modern traditions of kissing under the mistletoe, caroling, and gift giving. The program does, of course, include some sky gazing. This show is ideal for ages six and older.
