Cold Sweat CD Release Party

Live Music

The hottest Redding band, Cold Sweat, will be hosting their CD Release Party for their EP “After Hours Sessions Vol. I” on Saturday, September 27th from 8:00pm-11:00pm at The Castle Lounge located at 1647 Hartnell Avenue Suite 18 in Redding. Cold Sweat is a Northern California based band that ranges from Blues/Rock to Soul/Funk and everything in between! Since forming in January of this year, the band has skyrocketed to be one of the hottest bands traveling up and down the Northern California area and opening for bands like Los Lonely Boys at the Cascade Theatre. Cold Sweat plays both original music as well as applies their distinct sound to covers. Ranging from a five-piece band to a nine-piece band (which includes a horn and string section), Cold Sweat rocks every genre and every age group. Each of these players bring their own seasoned experience that, when put together, creates a fresh and eclectic sound. Headed by dual front men Eddie Sadler on guitar and lead vocals and Andres Acuna on lead guitar and vocals, Cold Sweat has an energy that inspires both musicians and fans. With Cleveland Boney on the keyboard, Josh Sandbloom on bass and Gino Molina on drums it was no surprise this group of artists hit it off so well. Come out to see Cold Sweat at their CD Release Party which will include drink specials, raffle prizes, sponsor vendors and a guaranteed good time. Contact Andres Acuna at 530-356-1765 or Eddie Sadler at 512-413-6803 for further information. Cold Sweat is generously sponsored by After Hours Recorders, Grace Guitar Company, Harris Studios, Krashburn Guitars, Jefferson State Blues Society and Shasta County Citizens Advocating Respect. “Great depth of musical talent… Fastest rising band in our region." – Jeff Darling, Cascade Theatre General Manager “If I could put together my own Shasta County allstar band, it would have Cold Sweat’s entire lineup. They are simply the best at what they do in the region. When I heard Eddie Sadler sing, I finally knew what Axl Rose would sound like if he had a smile on his face and the guts to sing the blues.” –Valerie Ing-Tompkins, JPR
