Does your child LOVE to sing? Would he or she like to be part of a whole group of kids their age learning to sing with a choir? Is your child between the ages of 7 and 14 and in second through eighth grades? Then the Shasta County Children’s Chorus is perfect for them!
The Shasta County Children’s Chorus will be enrolling students in grades 2 through 8 during the month of September. The Children’s Chorus meets each Monday from 4 pm to 5:30 pm and each Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm beginning Monday, September 8. Children’s Chorus meets at the Anderson Union High School Performing Arts Center located at 1471 Ferry Street in Anderson. This program is OPEN to ALL children in Shasta, Tehama and neighboring counties.
With instructors Dr. Cyril Myers, Director of Choral Studies at Simpson University, and Nancy Dutton, Choir and Theater Director at Anderson Union and West Valley High Schools, your children will LEARN from experienced choral directors while developing their own LOVE for the Performing Arts.
