LAKE SHASTA CAVERNS 50th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Lake Shasta Caverns is a popular attraction in Northern California and is located in the Shasta Trinity National Forest. Tours feature a catamaran cruise across the lake, a comfortable bus ride to the cave entrance, and a guided tour of the caves. Visitors can view fascinating rock formations from the comfort and safety of lighted walkways with handrails. The Caverns first opened to the public on May 30th, 194 and on Friday, May 30, 2014 we will be celebrating 50 years of offering exciting and educational tours to visitors. Lake Shasta Caverns was recently designated as a National Natural Landmark and has been the host to over 2 1/2 million visitors from around the world. You are invited to celebrate the day with us and enjoy tours of the caverns at 50% off of the usual admission ticket price! We are extending hours on this day and will be running tours every half hour from 9am to 6pm.
