2nd Saturday Art Opening and Reception in July
"Ebb and Flow" ~ Celebrating Water in All of Its Forms
The significance of our water sources is becoming increasingly important due to climate change, wild fires and our general well-being. This winter brought an abundance of snow to our region, which made for an active winter, a beautiful spring with impressive waterfalls, high river flows, full lakes, and a very white Mount Shasta! "Ebb & Flow", an open call exhibit, will celebrate this resource in all of its forms.
This is an open call event and a variety of media will be presented: painting, sculpture, printmaking, encaustic, drawing, collage, photography, and more. (photo is of a poured acrylic painting by Catherine G. McElroy of Etna, CA).
This art exhibit is sponsored by Peter Arth and the Friends & Family of Cynthia L. Henderson. Catherine McElroy's original painting will be on display as a silent auction item to raise funds for SAM's Community Art Maker Space.
