Emotional Support - Carr Fire Recovery
Assisting Evacuees & those with Damaged or Destroyed Homes
The Carr Fire has destroyed over 1,070 homes and over 186,000 acres. Community expressions of grief are essential to the healing process. Lynn E. Fritz, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, and The Euphrates Institute invite the community to gather in an evening of grief expression and processing, sharing of experiences, music, releasing of the grief and helping each of us move forward toward recovery.
This non-faith based evening will be hosted at Pilgrim Church, 2850 Foothill Blvd, Redding. This event is Wednesday, August 22 at 6:00 -7:30 pm. Community leaders will be present. This event was created by people volunteering in the community to help those who have been greatly impacted by the fire.
