16th Annual Business Leadership Luncheon
Dr. Tim Elmore, founder and president of Growing Leaders, a nonprofit organization created to develop emerging leaders, will return as the featured speaker at the 16th annual Simpson University Business Leadership Luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 30. Dr. Elmore delivered a popular message at 2014’s Business Luncheon on “Generation iY,” his term for the millennial generation known for its connection to technology and social media. His topic this year will be “Generation Z.” Since founding Growing Leaders, Dr. Elmore has spoken to more than a quarter of a million students, faculty and business leaders on hundreds of campuses across the country. He has taught leadership courses at national corporations and has spoken in more than 40 countries. He and his team are committed to developing young leaders on every continent. Dr. Elmore’s expertise on the emerging generation and generational diversity in the workplace has led to media coverage in The Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes.com, and The Washington Post. He has also appeared on CNN’s Headline News and Fox and Friends to discuss Generation iY. Dr. Elmore has written more than 30 books, including the best-selling Generation iY: Our Last Chance to Save Their Future, Habitudes®: Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes, Life Giving Mentors, and Nurturing the Leader Within Your Child, Artificial Maturity: Helping Kids Meet the Challenge of Becoming Authentic Adults.
