Storyteller, Songwriter, Troubadour - Chuck Brodsky

Returns to the Oaksong Society stage in Redding

Storyteller, Songwriter, Troubadour - Chuck Brodsky A good friend of the Oaksong Music Society, singer-songwriter/storyteller Chuck Brodsky has played several times in Redding (most recently in January 2015) and has developed a devoted following, eager to see his unique brand of humor and musicianship. This promises to be an evening to remember! Chuck Brodsky is a storyteller, songwriter, troubadour, and a modern day bard. With only his acoustic guitar and his voice, he’ll draw you in with genuine, down-to-earth warmth and his quirky, finely crafted songs. Using wit and irony, set to haunting melodies, he tells the stories of oddball and underdog characters through his syncopated guitar strumming or sweet finger-picking. His songs celebrate the goodness in people the eccentric, holy, profound, courageous, inspiring, and the beautiful. They poke fun at what needs to be poked, and sometimes they challenge. They’re sworn to tell the truth. Door opens @ 7:15 pm, show @ 8:00pm. Tickets are $20, student tickets are $10 (18 years and under with valid Student ID). Tickets are available at The Music Connection, 3086 Bechelli Lane, Redding. (530) 223-2040 or online @ http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/2596061
