An non-profit organization and fine art gallery in a beautiful 1893 Victorian home with stunning and inspiring gardens in Weaverville's historic district. The Highland Art Center is dedicated to the education and promotion of local artists and artisans by presenting a new show each month in the Main and East Galleries. Throughout the remainder of the gallery rooms, there is a large collection of members’ art on display and available for purchase. Some of the original items you will find include paintings, jewelry, ceramics, woodworking, sculpture, framed photos, fiber art, mixed media, cards, prints and much more. The beautiful Highland Meadow next door to the gallery hosts an annual July 4th Arts & Crafts fair, and is available for rent. Visit Snyder Highland Foundation on Facebook for current news and information. Open to the public year-around.
