When Words Fail, Music Speaks
The Trinity Alps Chamber is in their seventh season of presenting classical chamber music across Northern California. They kicked things off with four concerts dedicated to works from Beethoven's "late period," with shows in Hyampom, Weaverville, Eureka and San Francisco.
Next week they will continue their winter series with concerts in Redding, Weaverville and their first ever appearance in Chico. The series is called "The Voice of the Clarinet" with works by Mozart, Poulenc, Britten and Françaix.
The first performance is on Friday, January 27, at the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Redding at 7 pm.
The second performance is Saturday, January 28, at the Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center in Weaverville at 4 pm.
The third performance is Sunday, January 29 at the First Baptist Church in Chico at 2 pm.
And save the date for the Classical Kids! Coming to San Francisco on Saturday, February 18 at 10:30 am, featuring their kid-friendly presentation of Rudyard Kipling's "Just So Stories," with music by Danny Clay. For more information, visit www.trinityalpscmf.org.
